Changing the Game, Mental Health Awareness Session Wednesday August 6 from 7:15 pm

Hi Everyone,

As mentioned at training last night, the SFNLUA has organised a mental health awareness session for Wednesday August 6 after training.

The session will be run by Outside the Locker Room

OTLR focuses on providing critical education for mental health and other social issues, while also providing education for communities to build mental health literacy skills to increase and maintain their positive mental wellbeing.

Most of us are impacted by mental health through families, friends, or colleagues and we often have our own challenges. This has become a serious issue in society and there are ways we can monitor and improve our own mental health and that of those close to us.

Please come along to this session after training. We will provide a bbq and a drink for all prior to the session and there will be access to resources available ongoing afterwards.

Please note that this is not compulsory and attending is not a sign that you have mental health issues, it is a sign that you are interested in being able to recognise and deal with them should they arise.

Please bring any family members or friends you feel may benefit from this session.

Cheers, SFNLUA Committee
